Samsung Galaxy Note8

The innovation of the Galaxy Note8’s design makes possible the 6.3″ Infinity Display. It’s the biggest ever for a Galaxy Note—giving you more screen for a bigger view and more space to use the S Pen. And it still fits comfortably in your hand because the symmetric curves and 18.5:9 aspect come together for a narrow body… More at Samsung.

Amazing how quickly the notion of an edge to edge screen feels completely normal. Sorry to sound like a misery, but I can’t remember the last time I looked at a new Android phone and was emotionally positive towards it.

  1. man, I hate the name ‘infinity display’. At least ‘retina display’ had some element of relevance and not just meaningless marketing ‘oh that sounds good, I guess infinity sounds better than zero bezel’

I hope apple will some day see the value of supporting its stylus on something smaller than a regular size iPad, but not too optimistic. Maybe their new expensive one?
