A broken system

The problem of free work is getting worse as the UK’s freelance army grows. The number of self-employed people in the UK has increased from 3.3 million in 2001 to 4.8 million in 2017, according to the ONS, contributing the most to employment growth since the financial crisis. One small aspect of many things that are wrong in the UK at this time. The issue of rich stealing from poor is a growing one that only seems to be escalating.

  1. I’m sure what the article is about is not unique to the U.K. and has likely been an issue for a long time.

    As for the “rich” stealing from the “poor”, while the trend certainly is that wealth is being more and more consolidated, I’m missing how that relates to the article.
